Youth Programs (Grades K-8) are closed for the season.  Thank you for a great summer!  Registration for next summer opens March 1, 2018.

August and September Events

 

August 1-15th:  Tuesday Talks  are FREE and are held in RMBL’s billy barr community center (bbcc).

August 3rd: “The Latest News from RMBL”, Dr. Ian Billick presentation at CBCFA, 6:30 pm, FREE

August 4th: Youth Programs Family Night event in Gothic, 4:00-6:00 pm, FREE

August 5th: Butterfly BioBlitz at Gothic area with Rachel Steward, 10:30 am-2:00 pm, FREE

August 7th: RMBL Celebrates 90 Years of Land Conservation, 7:30 pm, Gothic at bbcc, FREE

August 9th: Dr. Doug La Follette, Wisconsin Secretary of State, speaks on current science and politics, 7:30 pm, Gothic at bbcc, FREE

August 10th – Geology Van Tour with Dr. Amy Ellwein, 10:00 am – noon, $40, register online here. – only 3 seats left

August 12th: Wildflower and Science Extravaganza: Gothic, Gunsight, and Kochevar, 8:00 am-5:30 pm (in collaboration with 1% for Open Space and the Wildflower Festival; $120.00 Contact: Molly Murfee, 970-349-1775, mmurfee.aei@usa.net)

August 22nd: Historic Preservation Dinner with artifacts and posters, Gothic at bbcc, cocktail hour 4:30- 6:00 pm, dinner 6:00 pm, town site tours 7:00-8:00 pm, ticketed event ($40 adults/$20 kids ages 12 and under)

August 24th:  Geology Van Tour with Dr. Amy Ellwein, 10:00 am – noon, $40, register online here.

Sept 3rd-7th: Wildland Trekking and RMBL are teaming up to lead a Base Camp experience. Gourmet food, guided day hikes, and rustic cabin living in Gothic at 9500 feet. Fee based.
