Courier

The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory needs a Courier for approximately 15 hours per week starting June 1, 2013 to do the town run every weekday between Gothic and Crested Butte to pick up and deliver mail, run errands, and handle the recycling (this involves loading and unloading the recycling materials and taking them to the drop-off site south of Crested Butte about once a week).Complete job description.

Winter Caretaker 2013-2014

We are looking for an individual or couple to live at the remote field station, only accessible by ski, between September 2013 and May 2014. In return for housing and a food allowance caretakers keep an eye on RMBL’s facilities; maintain Forest Queen and Maroon cabins for Nordic Hut system users; take out and bring back mail from Crested Butte once a week; photograph and document winter life in Gothic for marketing and social media purposes; and assist with check-out procedures when Admin office has moved to Crested Butte in the fall.
