“It is difficult to express to you the impact this past summer has had on my decisions to continue with science and perhaps focus on forest ecology. RMBL is filled with inspiring people whom I feel privileged to have met.”

RMBL Exploration Experiences

Adults and children over 12 (with an adult)

Enjoy a beautiful morning outdoors! We invite you to explore the world of field scientists and learn how they use the Elk Mountains to understand our world. You will step into the shoes of scientists to learn about their field research as we explore each week’s topic. Each tour includes moderate hiking as you follow your guide up the winding footpaths of Gothic to research meadows, forests, and streams.

Join us on Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and enjoy a delicious lunch in the RMBL Dining Hall.
