“From Earth Day in 1970 to Trump – It has been an experience” by Doug La Follette

Longtime friend and supporter of the Lab will be on site the first two weeks of August.
Doug has taught classes and given seminars at the Lab for many years.
After teaching at the University of Wisconsin and helping organize the first Earth Day in 1970, he entered the political arena as part of a national awareness that solving our environmental problems would require action by both National and State governments.
He worked on solar energy project in the Carter Administration and serves on the Wisconsin Land Board.
Doug has been a State Senator and now Sec. of State for many years. He ran for Governor in the wild recall effort in Wisconsin.
