The RMBL Community Portal allows researchers and RMBL community members to arrange and manage many aspects of their RMBL activity under one online account, including project submission, housing reservations at Gothic and RMBL 365, trainings, meal reservations at Gothic, and much more coming soon. About RMBL 365 Building
RMBL 365 building is a newly acquired lodging space designed to support year-round programming, collaboration, and community engagement while advancing RMBL’s scientific mission. Located in the town of Crested Butte, RMBL 365 offers a more comfortable, less rustic housing option than our Gothic facilities, making it well suited for researchers with families and guests seeking additional amenities. RMBL 365 is set up hostel-style with many rooms having a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living space.
Distance to Gothic Campus
RMBL 365 is not located at RMBL’s main campus in Gothic. RMBL 365 is located in the town of Crested Butte at 615 Teocalli Avenue, Crested Butte, CO 81224. The drive from RMBL 365 to the Gothic campus (main RMBL campus) is approximately 25–30 minutes in the summer. Guests staying at RMBL 365 who are conducting research in Gothic must have access to a personal vehicle. Transportation is not provided, and there is no public transit between Crested Butte and Gothic.

Communal Living
RMBL 365 operates in a hostel-style format, with most rooms sharing common spaces, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.
Shared Kitchen
The shared kitchen is fully equipped with two stoves/ovens, two full-size refrigerators, a microwave, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. Meals are not provided, and guests are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own food. Guests may still opt into meal plans at Gothic, but please note that this requires driving to and from the Gothic dining hall (~25-30-minute drive, see map). The local grocery store, Clark’s Market Crested Butte, is conveniently located nearby (3-minute drive or 11-minute walk) from RMBL 365.
Shared Living Room
The shared living room is a comfortable space to unwind after a day of fieldwork. Amenities include smart TV, fireplace, books and board games, and comfortable seating. Please note that RMBL events or gatherings may occasionally take place in this space. Guests will be notified in advance of any events that may occur in the space.

CB Laundromat
Laundry facilities are not included on-site at RMBL 365. A public laundromat is located next door to RMBL 365 at Crested Butte Laundry. Ask RMBL staff for more information.
