Arrival Information for Undergraduate Students Attending the 10-Week Education Program

The following information is current for the 2026 Education Program (June 9 – August 14).

ARRIVAL DATES
Students should arrive on June 9, 2026 unless other dates are agreed upon with your mentor. The program ends on August 14, 2026. All students should contact their mentors to determine arrival and departure dates for the 10-week program. Students funded by an REU or scholarship or requesting credit through WCU must complete a 10 week program. If you are having difficulty coordinating your arrival and departure dates with your mentor please contact the Science Director at sd@rmbl.org.

TRAVEL

All students need to fill out the Travel Form by May 1st.

RMBL SHUTTLE
RMBL will arrange for transportation between Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Gothic on the arrival and departure dates of the education program. Here are the parameters:

• The shuttle is $25 per person each way
• You must fill out the online Travel Form by May 1st and request transportation.

CHECKING IN
If you arrive anytime between 8-5 pm be sure to check in at the Administration Office in the Barclay Classroom Building. Go here to learn more about Checking in. View the Gothic Town Map to get an understanding of how Gothic looks. Please note that parking space is VERY limited in Gothic. If you are not arriving through RMBL-arranged transportation please contact admin@rmbl.org so we know exactly when to expect you and can direct you to your cabin. If you will arrive after 7:00 pm we will need to hold dinner/snack for you and also take you to your cabin in the dark. It is very important to keep us posted on your travels!
