August 31st to September 4th, 2024

Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado

Instructors: Berry Brosi (University of Washington), Fernanda Valdovinos (University of California, Davis),  Ian Breckheimer (Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, Western Colorado University), Taranjot Kaur (University of California, Davis), Mark Novak (Oregon State University)

Workshop Description:  Approaches to integrating theory and data in studies of species interactions become increasingly quantitative and sophisticated over time. With a focus on the structure and dynamics of plant-pollinator interactions, the goals for this workshop are to introduce participants to (1) the theory and underlying metrics of species interaction network structure, (2) the statistical methods for estimating interaction rates from data, and (3) the mathematical tools that enable inferences regarding community dynamics.

Deadlines: Applications close January 15th, 2024, and accepted applicants will be notified by February 15th.

Please see the workshop website for more information, including financial support for attending.
