
Tem McElroy
With a MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management, Tem is Chairman of McElroy Metal, Inc., which is a manufacturer and distributor of metal roofing components for the construction industry with 13 plants and 60 distribution centers in 18 states. plants and 60 distribution centers in 18 states. He has extensive nonprofit experience, including serving as President or Chairman of a number of organizations such as Barksdale Forward, a community support group of Barksdale Air Force Base, the Community Foundation of Shreveport-Bossier, the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, and the Manufacturing Managers’ Council. He also has experience working with academic research and education organizations, including serving as President of the Biomedical Research Foundation of Northwest Louisiana, on the President’s Advisory Board of Georgia Tech, the Board of Trustees of Centenary College, the Caddo Public Education Foundation Board, and the Alliance for Education Board. Tem and his wife Maggie split their time between a home in Shreveport, Louisiana and a house in Crested Butte, Colorado.
