RMBL Explorers are consistent annual donors, whose support ensures that RMBL thrives today and into the future. Just as explorers can be found in the wilds of the Rockies and beyond, our RMBL Explorers span the globe—curious, passionate people who believe in the power of science to illuminate change and shape our future.

As an Explorer, you join the core group of supporters who give $5,000 or more annually in unrestricted gifts, your commitment sustains one of the nation’s oldest and most respected scientific field stations. It also ensures that RMBL continues as one of the longest continuously studied ecosystems in the world.

Each year, your generosity fuels research that strengthens our understanding of the systems that sustain life itself. Your support has already made a tremendous difference. Together, we have built one of the world’s longest and largest records of subalpine change—data so influential that National Geographic (2023) called it “a foundational text.”

At its core, RMBL is a community of talented, curious, and passionate people who believe deeply in science that connects ecological understanding to pressing global challenges. RMBL would not be possible without YOU. By becoming an Explorer, you not only sustain
groundbreaking research—you join a community of discovery, connection, and purpose.
