Join us for cocktail hour and a poster session highlighting current RMBL research projects, followed by a gourmet dinner in the company of RMBL scientists. Speaker Dr Scott Ferrenberg of the US Geological Survey studies tree defenses against insects with the goal of understanding the interactions among trees and pests as climate change promotes disturbances and insect range shifts. His presentation is entitled, “Colorado’s Trees and the Bark Beetles – What Will Our Future Forests Look Like?”
