Dear RMBL Community,

The energy in Gothic this summer has been incredible. June and July were brimming with activity—field research is thriving, visitors are returning in record numbers, and excitement about RMBL’s future continues to grow.

We have hosted nearly double the number of events this summer, from community dinners, expert talks, and science tours to focused donor gatherings that are fueling momentum for our next chapter. Our Visitor’s Center and docents are servicing a thirty percent increase in science and historical tours. Behind the scenes, our team has been working hard to support researchers, strengthen communications, and build meaningful partnerships across the Gunnison Valley and beyond.

One major milestone: RMBL is officially under contract to purchase the CB Hostel (615 Teocalli Ave) our future year-round hub, RMBL 365. We have until October 15 to complete our fundraising for this acquisition. This is an incredible, turn-key opportunity to expand our reach and impact, and we’re already seeing strong support. To date, we’ve raised $1.8M, with just under $1M left to go by October 15^th.

As we move into the second half of summer, I remain deeply inspired by the passion and generosity of this community. Whether you have joined a Gothic tour, shared input on our Centennial vision, or supported a student in the field—you are part of what makes RMBL so special.
